Having been there, and seeing this exact scenario occur in front of me over a dozen times (the guy who rips the child away is a supervisor fyi), I try to keep emphasizing that this is REALLY happening, and that there are NO rules anymore for them, even the unfair ones from 6 months ago.
They’re doing this in New Yorks courthouses so egregiously too because they know they’ll be run off the streets when they try to get people that way. They’re just as lazy as they are cruel. Once the courts don’t work they’ll be at our apartment doors more, or wherever else they think is easy.
