I have come to understand that there are perhaps millions of women who are not ALLOWED to go into a voting booth alone and are in fact accompanied by their husbands or fathers. This should be illegal but in fact is very prevalent among Christians. Women are property to their husbands and fathers

I had no glue until the numbers came out that so many white women are so against standing up for their sisters. I for one think we need to protect each other and boost each other.

During so many elections the votes of black women have saved our asses, and we (white women as a whole) just cannot seem to resist punching ourselves in the face over and over again. I will never understand why so many of us are willing to hurt ourselves just to ensure that other hurt more.

I read an article about why appealing for the well-being/lives of women and girls to evangelical "christians" doesn't have the impact that it does on a normal person.
