Unfortunately, we have both a mayor and a governor here who are likely to capitulate to this, which sets the city up for some not so great situations.

Who will suffer the most are poor Black people, mostly poor Black women. A quick statistic: 71 % of the people in the four housing courts at Detroit’s 36th District Court who are facing eviction are Black women. I’ve witnessed it at least 28 times.

They r a marginalized community that always suffers the most. We have a POTUS that does not care and is only a POTUS for MAGA. I have never in my 70 yrs seen our country so divided with so much hate.
