I suspect many Democrats stay quiet as they see Trump setting precedents on unlimited power they would like to use in the future, and many Republicans stay quiet since they aren't worried about Democrats ever having that kind of power as long as the rest of the elections are fixed.
In other words, Democrats are just as corrupt
That's how "Both Sides" and Whataboutism work. No one is lily white, everyone is some shade of gray, so let's leave corruption out of our voting decisions right? I've always voted for gridlock so Separation of Powers is divided by party to minimize damage, but one party got all the levers of power.

And that tired old argument was revealed as fraudulent when they said that as the excuse for not getting rid of the filibuster and then when they had the chance to use it they didn’t because oh now we have to worry about bipartisanship with Nazis, something people specifically told them not to do.
I think they’re on the same team. No party lets the other party just wield power like this. They aren’t a real party. They let a *coup* go. Biden said “welcome home” to a guy who ran a coup against him. Biden had the Epstein Files in January 2024 but kept them. What are people supposed to think?

Holding a higher loyalty to Bill Clinton than to the People is what’s holding back the Democrats and it’s what’s held us back since 1992. When a fluke win propelled a horrifically awful person into power and his warped conservative southern “centrist” politics totally destroyed this Party. Look.
