Because for some reason, she decided that if the bill passed, it shouldn't include cuts to Iron Dome funding, and that's insane. The Iron Dome is literally what allows Israel to attack others without fear of consequences.

I don't know why everyone assumes Israel would just stop attacking their neighbors if they didn't have the Iron Dome. There's an argument to be made that they would be *more* aggressive in neutralizing threats.

People assume they would stop attacking their neighbors without it because it's what keeps them from facing consequences for doing so. The idea that they would be more aggressive without their shield from harm is baseless and stupid. I'll disengage now since you're clearly an idiot.

Rocket attacks neutralized by the Iron Dome never gave Netanyahu the pretext for accelerating the genocide. If it didn't exist and a coordinated rocket attack killed hundreds, do you think he would have acted any differently than after Oct 7?

There is a legitimate argument to be made that the Iron Dome is a stabilizing force in the region, at least when the leader if Israel is sane. Netanyahu won't be in power forever.

He will be with the Iron Dome. Or people like him. Israel needs to capitulate, there is no other way forward for peace, freedom, and human rights. They need to cooperate with their neighbours and not be able to kill with impunity. They will not cooperate if they believe they are protected.

Any glance at history shows that this idea does not track, Israel has been plenty violent before any rocket interceptors existed

Should we give an Iron Dome to Palestine? Should we give an Iron Dome to Iran? If it's a stabilizing force for the region, perhaps you'd say it's a good idea?

Why not? Between the less accurate weapons on one side and the actual targeting of civilians on the other, ballistic weapon attacks are an extreme danger for civilians. If nobody can shoot at each other from an extreme distance then lives could be saved. Ground ops are a much bigger commitment.

I agree with all you’re saying, MTG’s stunt was exactly this! They’re much larger picture is the iron dome, especially in America! Don’t fall for their traps and propaganda! I knew there was a lot more to this than what people were saying! Just a rouse from Epstein, cuomos and corporate dems!
