The comfort women issue is very imp. to the S. Korean people & the sincerity of past apologies by Japan have been questioned. This is mostly an issue btw S. Korea & Japan & diplomatically speaking, we should stay out of it. For DJT to even mention the issue could bring problems for us later on.

It’s more than that. If DJT appears to be sympathetic to 🇰🇷 re: comfort women, he risks infuriating the 🇯🇵 govt which could affect political &/or trade relations btw us. If he backtracks, then he risks insulting 🇰🇷.
