Yeah weaponizing the prohibition against eating pork to identify and persecute Jewish people has quite a history in europe. Same bigoted tactics, different target
Nearly got into a scap about that on Friday.
I'm not religious but it is a gross stupidly ignorant joke and it also looks like gross ultra low cost "bacon". It looks so full of water it could be eaten on a Halal or Kosher diet.
They've made some great strides in food flavourings in recent years and you can buy turkey bacon that is like 85% the same taste. Taste isn't quite as strong and the texture isn't quite there yet but it is very close. It's like frogurt.
Iβm not religious and I eat what I want but Iβm a Jew and I recognize what this is. Itβs not about the food.
Ive spent about 30 years or so living overseas, but just in the past year, I see more and more Americans using the term "gross." When did this start? It's a term I used in elementary school. By no means am I aiming my comment strictly at you, Ive really seen Americans of all ages use it.
I'm puzzled by your puzzlement. I'm 64 and it's been common since I was a kid.
I use it rarely when appropriate
Sure no problem. Iβve just seen it used alot over the last few years but have been out of touch with whatβs occured in the US. Even people talking to me in an elevator seems strange. Itβs nice but just different than other parts of the world.
