In my thread tonight, I started with the lyrics, and my favourite version sung by Gérard Souzay in the 1950s. I love Gabriel Fauré. I have been playing his music since I was 14. I sang "Après un rêve" as a college Freshman, and was accepted to the Recital Degree for playing his Second Barcarolle.
