His idea is eugenics. It really is that simple. He thinks the healthy will survive and everyone else can fuck off and die. (Nevermind that he and his kids are vaccinated. That is different...somehow.)

And nevermind that Mother Nature's primary interest is Which Ones Can I Kill. She does not select for intelligence or even common sense. If human lifespan is 25, 20, 16 years, she's fine with that. Old enough to shit out a kid who can shit out a kid? Job done. We'll natural select into cavemen

This is why Vecna's "eat, sleep, reproduce and die" comment from stranger things hit hard when I saw it (sorry for the reference if you haven't seen it) but it's true. Medical advances go AGAINST natural order. Germ theory, vaccines & antibiotics go against nature.
