Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago President Austan Goolsbee is what that ideal is named after. He hoped to stabilize the labor market while also guiding interest rate policies. Their concerns are n that tariffs could create stagflation and cause Americans to pay more for goods and services. 1/2

2/2 - Ironically, their policies would INCREASE the pain on the American public by inferring additional fees associated with Trump's tariffs to benefit localities which are publicly listed. They are a two-face.
