Not Terrance?!
Oh my, your post was how I learned Terrence Stamp died. The Limey (1999), which featured footage of him from Poor Cow (1967) was very good. But I will always treasure his performance in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
Before there was The Limey, there was The Hit. Tim Roth, John Hurt, Terence Stamp . . . incroyable!
I just found out the Micheal Parks dock is out on streaming, I'll be watching that later.
I keep hearing Wateloo Sunset by The Kinks in my head. Will have to put that on in honour of Terry Stamp.
🎼🎵 Terry meets Julie Waterloo Station Every Friday night
Thank you for the suggestion. I was trying to figure out which of his films to watch.
I'm watching Modesty Blaise right now.
That I’ve never seen Let me know what you think
It's 60's campy. A fashion show for the lead star, comic book plot, over the top. I love it! Owned it for years.
Also: he was just soooo good in Priscilla. One of my very favourite performances in anything. #RIP
the limey , the man was intense .
Oh no. ♥️RIP Mr. Stamp. The Limey, thoroughly enjoyable, underrated flick
Excellent picture
No matter how many Superman reboots… there is only one true Zod!!
Sold! Thank you for the suggestion. I recommend The Limey
Just added to my watchlist - thanks!
Thanks for the recommendation, I will watch this tonight
Why did you make me watch this?! Lol I thought I had the tone figured out and boy was i wrong! Great movie even if I wish for a different ending. Thank you
Afterthought: In that court scene, you can hear Stamp's talent in the accent and cadence of his speech. That man could master speaking Sanskrit is required. Genius.
Someone else reminded me of "The Hit". What an INTENSE film! And, jeez louize---John Hurt, Tim Roth...DAAAMN.
Excellent cast
Also watching.
Excellent suggestion
Stephen Frears and a stacked cast. And ten years later Terrence Stamp and a Bill Hunter would reunite as love interests in Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
Omg I didn’t put that together!!!!
Priscilla and The Limey for me, then Superman II as a chaser. So many brilliant performances.
👍
I just hit the + on Prime!
Watch Billy Budd.
So great
The Limey is my go-to Terrence Stamp movie
General Zod!
