It is not whether anything was learned (the failure is well known.) this is the most recent manifestation of the “anything is better than your local public school” movement that has continuously painted the public school systems as failing. Its roots are in racism and enabled by conservatives.

Conservatives who can’t let ‘we the people’ do anything for ourselves wo the involvement of & getting gouged by their middlemen associates.
