Many Chicago police support Trump. They support the National Guard coming in. So do many black citizens.
Whatever they do they should NOT monitor ice communication and use city construction crews to block certain roads…fed vehicles should NOT “accidentally” get towed when parked. Official should NOT inform local media of ICE activity so citizens make it difficult for them to operate. ;-)
And fire engines should NOT push through ICE checkpoints with lights flashing and sirens blaring, with volunteers holding up “ICE CHECKPOINT AHEAD” signs a couple of blocks away.
More because I’m feeling helpful. Ice vehicles should NOT be pulled over and impounded for broken tail light violations or rolling stop signs. Drones should NOT be used to pinpoint and report ICE movement and locations. City utility companies should NOT shut down power or water to ICE facilities.
They should hand out reflective vests and Hefty bags to them as they come off the bus, and point them to a dog park.
