Human fecal contamination is a public health concern in natural areas. And if you’re one of the 63 million Americans who went hiking last year, chances are you’ve found yourself needing to go — with no toilet in sight. (via @us.theconversation.com‬) https://to.pbs.org/41z38sh

Do animals poop outdoors, or they build little toilets for themselves?

Do animals use wet wipes and have taken antibiotics the week before?

The issue is due to the diseases and bacteria in Human fecal matter, which can cause illenesses in Humans. Are there pathogens that cross from animal to human, yes, as many as human to human, no.

As somebody who has been homeless, I can tell you that the actual answer to this question is: - 7/11 - Wal Mart - Wendy's - Taco Bell - Public rest areas - literally anywhere with toilets - not on the ground - not "just wherever" Follow me for more vital information. 😂

In Oregon the bathrooms are locked and require a keycode to get in which requires a purchase of something. I have personally stepped over human 💩💩💩 many times in certain places. I am glad you were able to use a restroom.

Darn. Was hoping this was a story to instantly boost my previous point. Was hoping it was about how many American farm owners put farm laborers in direct contact with ‘non potable’ water.

Poop is fertilizer and soil. Not reading it but dig a hole. What a weird story to write about.

Feces is organic, biodegradable, and a natural occurrence in nature. The only issue with it would be toilet paper or wipes of any kind. So just don’t wipe when defecating in the woods. Simply poop and rinse your butt in a river or something.

And that's why you bring a human shit eating dog :) My buddy brought his dog on a backpacking trip in the Montana wilderness one time and it was the cleanest camp we ever had, literally spotless, as if we were never there
