Actually, I think you could mock them and shame them if you named names and did it repetitively. But Chuck and many of his Dem colleagues want to be mannerly to their “friends across the aisle”.

And that is the reason we need term limits because when they are in too long they become chummy with the other side and lose their focus on what they are supposed to be doing and that is serving the American people. Well, that and the money.

I think if Sen Whitehouse had been majority leader last term & minority leader now, several situations would have not been ignored or addressed better. Like the SCOTUS corruption.

Whitehouse would have been superb as chair of the Judiciary committee. As for Speaker, I’m keeping my eye on Brian Schatz. I’m just afraid that not enough Dems would vote for him instead of Schumer. Manners and civility, you know?
