Not just rising prices, but shortages
It's also true that the economy shouldn't rely on undocumented work. If this means some prices rise then we need to address wealth distribution and so on. Sadly not what's happening in the USA at all, or course.
Of course by this I mean we should legalise immigrants, not deport them (specially not through arbitrary, massive deportation programs).
And (last one I promise) I'm not an idiot, I understand you can't (probably not?) just welcome everyone to the country, but I'm way more comfortable with how this has been handled by the less conservative governments in Spain rather than what's happening in other countries (let alone the USA).
