And the bridges need repairs, but they can’t do it! I was in Plymouth recently, and I overheard a panicked conversation about closing the Sagamore for repairs. Nightmare for everyone because no one who works on the Cape can actually live there.

I knew a team of Nantucket delivery drivers who would drive an hour to Hyannis to board a 7am charter flight to the island, then do the whole thing in reverse at 6pm. Madness.

That's insane. We could just make it easier for people who work there to live there, but why in the world would we do that?
