You should be able to long-press on an image of a QR code and then select "search with google lens" and it will decode. It's always "just a picture."

The only way I could get this to work as a link was to save it as an image and then open the image and have Google Lens search it, so it appears you were correct about them not working on sites like Bluesky that use their own app... 😬🥸
Yes, I can screenshot or save the image then import that into lens. Much quicker if people just post the ruddy link!
In Chrome, you just go to the page you want a code for, then in the 3 dot menu, click share, then scroll to the right and you should see Create QR Code.
Apparently, Chrome has a built-in QR code generator, if that helps. The squares on yours look a little curvy as well.
