Well, as an atheist I say there is no God; religion is the root of all evil as far as I'm concerned - look at Iran, Afghanistan, Israel. But context is important, too. Centuries past things were different but good vs evil was apparent. Trump has no moral compass; his team for wealth and power.
Iβve always said people are evil. Not religion. If you support a religion or a church that supports behavior that causes pain in others you the human are evil. Congregate elsewhere with people who have pure good intentions.
OK fair point. But what if religion is forced upon you? That you have no choice? There are many instances in the Middle-East where religions are in the hands of evil. For context, look at Netanyahu, look at Ali Khamenei, look at The Taliban. These religions of hate and suppression.
