I’m πŸ’― love for the trans community. What are your thoughts on body/muscle composition differences? The different stages in the journey should or should not be considered? I would like a more comprehensive understanding how this is competitively equal.

I say that by the way because I am not a sports expert, and I also to be honest, don’t have the energy to do the research and pull up reports. I just know that that questioning is rooted in exactly what this book talks about in depth.

Fair enough. If my short stubby self raced bicycles along the long legged ones in my youth and I still came out strong why not? But I got to tell you if I got in the boxing ring with someone with twice as much muscle I bet I’d have to learn to dunk twice as often.

I listened to it on Libby, so I recommend checking out a library resource if you can so you don’t have to spend the money! It’s definitely worth the read though.

Have you seen the images of teams of cis women competing in volleyball for example? There are cis women who are vastly different in build and muscle and they compete just fine against one another. I’d really recommend giving the book above a listen.
