My two girls spent a majority of their lives with dad deployed- so whenever I returned, I made sure their lives were in order- Their mom did a stellar job.

As a mother of a severely hard of hearing son I say YAY to this father! I was lucky enough to have wonderful support from my son’s teachers…speech…therapists and interpreters. Without them I don’t know where my son would be…this poor boy and his family were tortured!

We went through this in the 70's 2 deaf children. We knew where the bodies were buried in the school board members sordid lives. They refused, we outed thrir sordid lives. 3 divorces, all resigned, 2 went to rehab. New board, kids got their education, no lawsuits in court(filed them).
He's not wrong. Deafness has nothing to do with what sounds like a class for the difficult to teach. His child is being robbed of his early education, perhaps holding him back unfairly I try not to use foul language as it's an out for them to not address your concerns, but focus on the language

They always say that when someone is right. No answers just ‘please refrain’ from a pearl clutcher. We went through the same thing with our granddaughter. She’s brilliant and the school tried to put her in special ed. My husband made sure that didn’t happen. She’s a straight A student.
