As a Christian, I feel there are better ways to be antiauthoritarian. Yes, I realize it's my bias and prejudice speaking here, but it still makes me uncomfortable.

It's just a symbol, he's no more real than Zeus or Hades.
People used to believe Zeus and Hades were real too, would you fight with them over their beliefs simply because you don't believe their gods exist?
TBH, it's not worth taking away the security blanket of highly emotional beings, it will just make me suffer when they lash out.
Regardless of your personal beliefs, their are people who believe God, Satan, etc. exist. Forcing others to accept religious beliefs is one thing, but I do think I have the same right to voice that something makes me uncomfortable just as everyone else has, do I not?
Sure, why not? Reality is the consensus of its participants.
We are glad you are voicing discomfort. We are glad you feel discomfort.
doing this gay retarded "erm we're happy to be discomforting you! 🤓" thing isnt really giving you the cool badboy edge you think it is, you're no different from the christofascists that exist in this country lol
Whatever, man. Being antagonistic is not a great strategy at winning people over. But I'm not exactly going to beat myself over a brick wall just because people on the internet are rude.
Ignorance should be fought. Superstition should be fought.
Perhaps it's better to pick your battles instead of burning bridges before you march across them. You don't have to have everyone's approval to win a war, but you should at least play nice.
Wonderful. Very happy to cause a Christian discomfort.
And here I thought you didn't worship Satan. Weird response to a Christian who agrees with and just has a problem with your name if you were telling the truth.
We only worship ourselves. We encourage you to sit with your discomfort.
You worship a god that will strike his people down with no mercy for having doubts about him. Even if they did worship Satan/Lucifer, the only difference is that he defied God and is actively being punished. What happened to love the sinner not the sin?
That comment is out of left field and has nothing to do with the conversation. You clearly just have a problem with Christianity, which is your prerogative, but it's relevant to anything.
