NOPE..."The U.S. Marshals report to the Attorney General through the Director of the U.S. Marshals Service. The Attorney General, in turn, is appointed by the President and is part of the executive branch."

yes, that is all also completely correct....both are true, but the bottom line is they don't take orders from any judge, they take orders from the DOJ. In normal times judges could use the DOJ for enforcement but these are far from normal times.
