Yeah I don't want to work THAT bad, I just know from experience that I'm happiest when I'm busy. If I didn't need to work for money I wouldn't stay where I am, but I'd have to do SOMETHING. I do what I do now so I can afford my horse and no other reason lol. I'd happily be a random state tax lawyer
There are all kinds of things you can do that would not be detrimental to a workplace! My dad's uncle is 94 and still does woodworking to keep his hands busy. His house is long paid off and he also rents an apartment above the garage out for supplemental income.
Well I'm 32 right now so unfortunately while I'm sure my presence is detrimental to the workplace writ large, I'm going to be stuck working until at least my 70s no matter how I feel about it in forty years
