Exactly. 47 has cut many of the programs that help those with mental health/substance use issues. At the same time, his DOJ allow silencers & permit the sale of devices that enable standard firearms to fire like machine guns. How much more evidence do we need that? He doesn’t give a damn about us?!

I think we are missing a critically important point. Today's horrific shooting was yet another murder/suicide. Most of these school-related shootings are murder/suicides or murder/suicide by cop. Whether it's an isolated suicide or murder/suicide, the real crisis is the rising youth suicide rate.
No, the real crisis is the ready availability of guns. No other nation ON THE PLANET has this many mass shootings.
But the fact remains that a young person in the US is more than 300 times more likely to die by suicide than in a school-associated shooting.
The average number of fatal school-related shootings of school-age children in recent years in the US is about 19 per year. This is about the same number of young people age 10-24 that commit suicide in the US--every single day.
Ironic that Trump needs mental health care more than anyone!!
