Not all things of beauty in this world has to be trampled and shat on. Ban the bloody disgraceful climbing on this holy mountain full stop
That's a really good idea.
Long overdue reform.
That seems fair - climbers with more experience in similar conditions are less likely to die or cause other issues
Don't be too sure of that. Some of the most experienced have fallen to the brutal mountain due to unforeseen circumstances.
7000ft???
Seems reasonable. Probably could do more
Good
About fucking time
About bloody time.
Headline needs editing - should be meters, not feet.
I have seen the lines in the present day going up the mountain. Sitting in that alone would be excruciating.
That's a challenge to Darby Allin 😂
Correct call.
Finally !
This new law makes a lot of sense! It's about time we prioritize safety over the summit selfies. Scaling Everest is no small feat, and climbers need to be prepared for the challenges ahead. Let's hope it leads to a more sustainable and responsible climbing culture!
I just watched a YouTube video on this last night and all the new restrictions are reasonable and overdue.
Good for them
