An explosion occurred late Wednesday at SpaceX's Starbase facility in South Texas. SpaceX says a Starship rocket preparing for its tenth flight test experienced a "major anomaly." There were no injuries and all employees are accounted for, according to SpaceX.

The first 4 test launches of the lower section were fine but tests 5 through 10 of the full spacecraft have all been failures of varying levels of spectacular ranging from burning up on re-entry to exploding in the pad. In each of the "crew capable" tests the crew would have died.
