The inflation crisis that followed the pandemic altered many customers’ views of McDonald’s — from a cheap place to get a quick meal to a pricey fast food restaurant that barely undercut a higher-quality sit-down restaurant alternatives. https://cnn.it/4lGxv7s

McDonald's price gouged to take advantage of poor consumers already squeezed during the pandemic. When that began to level off during the Biden admin and other corps cut prices upon realizing they jacked them up too much, McD's did not Ain't nobody paying $10+ for a Big Mac meal. McD's can get bent

Their CEO makes $20 million/year. They definitely had fat they could've cut before resorting to raising prices for their customers, most of whom live paycheck to paycheck. In a sense, all these paycheck to paycheck customers crowdfund that guy's $20 million salary.

They're going to need to increase the size of their offerings to what they were before COVID. A cheeseburger is now roughly half the size that it was.

Chemo made all meat taste terrible, and I could even force it down. Funny thing was that a McDonald's burger did not. That is when I quit eating there.

That stunt with the Rapist as a dementia DEI hire will take a lot more forgiving than just introducing cut-price crapburgers.

Will the CEO still make $20 million/year to peddle unhealthy food? Imagine making $20 million/year to oversee burgers and fries.

NO LIES DETECTED: A McDonalds Quarter Pounder Cheeseburger 'meal' is now priced at $15.45 in Omaha. I can go to Applebee's and get a much better option . The Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp is priced at $15.99.

They should have added the promise of going back to taste, too. Stop cutting the budget for corporate bottom line purposes. Their food tastes horrible, now. Nobody craves it. Dumb, zero understanding of humanity.

I was just in Spain, where regular people, nay, poor people, can eat healthily. Fresh fish, bread, ham, fruits, vegetables, etc. Not only that, they can enjoy a very good bottle of wine for $10.

If making a simple tomato sauce from scratch is considered high end cooking something is profoundly wrong. If people in poor neighbourhoods can't even buy fresh ingredients at affordable prices something is profoundly wrong. Offering mandatory cooking courses in schools will help health from scratch
