There was no order preventing him from being deported to Uganda, just El Salvador. There has been an order in the last couple of hours, but it’s just temporary to give Garcia a chance to challenge the deportation to Uganda. There is no legal basis for him to remain in the US.

No, it's not a formality. You're reading the orders incorrectly. The government has the right to deport him because he's an immigrant. The court didn't "pre-approve" his deportation, they can't. He was here legally, no one has ever gone through the legal process to revoke his legal status.

He was granted temporary legal status in 2019. The Trump administration admitted they made a mistake in deporting him.
That's withholding of removal, which only prevents him from being deported to El Salvador. He can be deported anywhere else with no further proceedings.

USA is now a protonazi state, already an autocracy exercising a complete disregard for the rule of law and human rights. The whole world always thought yours was one of the strongest democracies, but in the end it is showing that it was always one of the weakest, most fragile ones.
It really feels like they don't want him to walk free. They either want him to admit to wrongdoing so they can scream about how they were in the right, or they send him away so the population eventually forgets him when the administration just floods the news with some unimportant distractions.
