If Trump is really concerned about crime in Washington, DC, then he should summon the police to the Oval Office, where they'll find a man who was convicted of 34 felonies. But if his concern is crime which is violent, then he should crusade for very strong gun control laws.

Preventing crime is NOT about more police/more national guard, more prisons. Already USA leads the world in our incarceration rate (a rate 10 times that in Europe!). We are tough on crime but do little in preventing new criminals. More $$s on mental health & child support and higher wages.
