What was the issue, something landing related?
What was the issue, something landing related?
It's all in the article, but the hydraulics for the landing gear were full of ice. After some touch downs to try to bump start the landing gear, the plane decided that it was on the ground and became uncontrollable. I love me a plane with sophisticated software. 🙄
perfect example of why Canadians want out of the program.
Our threat to annex their country must be figuring in their thoughts as well. You don't buy an F35 unless you believe in the after sales support.
I don't want america having the power to disable our jets thank you very much. and also I want nukes. because I've seen what happens to neighbours without nukes now.
Understandable. You live upstairs from a heavily armed meth lab, staffed by unpredictable meth heads. It would be safer to have a deterrent.
Sounds like it’s programmed by Elon. 🤷♂️🚫
And Canada is on the hook for 16 of these overengineered pieces of crap.
"No, I'm afraid I don't currently have access to an external thumb drive with an uncorrupted copy of the actuation files."
The issues with this type of plane in particular needs it own docu-series cuz BRUH. F.O.R.D?
Must have been some incredible hold music.
“Your call is important to us”.
“We are experiencing a higher than average number of calls. Your wait time is currently 35 minutes.”
"Your call is important to us..."
This is fine
Check the engine. (Pratt & Whitney) I know things. (Source: Brother TriSec at GE Riverworks, Lynn MA.) It was originally a GE engine, but the contract was given to PW for political reasons.
Was water in the landing gear hydraulic lines. And the touch and goes he made made the jets sensors think he was on the ground. Nothing to do with the motor
@vidadesuporte.bsky.social chega aqui pra ver uma coisa
Pilot calling tech support while flying: "Please listen carefully as our menu items have changed."
Worst tech support call ever 😏
😂
“Please hold” … “Have you tried turning it off and on again?”
🤣🤣
If your elevator trim is stuck press 1…if your ailerons are malfunctioning press 2 😁
“Please enter the serial number of your plane after the beep. To finish press pound.”
I thought it was a female pilot that crashed the F35
I'm sure it'll be blamed on some "DEI", regardless of what actually happened...
The accident report does not mention anything about DEI. Try reading
Can you give me your name, DOB, address and phone number for verification, again?
What’s your callback number if we get disconnected?
Listening to the hold music start over for the fourth time and fingering the missile launch controls
What happened was he couldn't land because the main landing gear wouldn't properly deploy and they where trying everything they could to land the plane safely before the sensors through it into an inoperable state an he had to eject.
Water in the hydraulic lines
yeah, I think the story mentioned that I had gotten into the hydraulics and he tried to land twice, but then the sensors through everything off and had to eject when the aircraft became unstable. Personally, I would’ve retitled this story as engineers worked with pilot trying to save aircraft.
