Good news for Glasgow and indeed for Norway, I think. A common platform for European, Canadian and Australian ASW frigates is a great way forward and it will annoy little old Russia (pop 140 mio and a GDP of close to nothing) somewhat too.

One good thing about Trump tariffs is it will force EU to be self sufficient in military technology and diminish the power of US defense contractors who pander almost exclusively to Republicans.
Also Canada is looking at South Korea & Germany for new submarines. For aircraft, the Gripen. It has to take a small amount of completed F35’s due to contract. The US is no longer an ally.
