The EU consistently having more common sense than the USA
🤨 U.S. "...administration has griped about the large fines that the EU has levied as a result of their privacy laws and antitrust laws that are significantly more stringent and enforced more frequently in Europe than in the United States." 🤯
1/2 Google / Google Ads has been allowing criminal advertising for years. Commercial fraud is part of their daily business model. Even after reporting clearly fraudulent ads, they take no action. They make millions from this! In my view, Google is complicit in these scams,
and the fine imposed is far too low. Every advertising law is trampled on. In these ads, it’s lies from the very first second to the last. Maybe that’s tolerated in the States, but here we have clear regulations. Google sees itself as a power – I see Google as an accomplice in commercial fraud.
Well Done Europe 👏🏻
Cool,story and also
Repeat after me: “pocket change”
Great!
Sounds like they are just fining them to collect $ billions, not because of any malfeasance.
