I don't think there is any excuse no matter what the position. Trump is on that list and should go to prison as well. As a survivor of abduction and rape, all these people must be made examples of, no matter the position, no matter the fame, no matter the fortune, full stop.
Absolutely. Political figures are not heroes, they are not idols, they are people doing a job and if they are show to break *any* law they should be punished accordingly. This should be common sense, but we have a whole section of the country turning politics into idol worship, with a golden god.
We need to get rid of Citizens United. That is the primary catalyst destroying our democracy.
