That is not true. But we are slow and very careful. We were caught off guard. 85% reduction in fossil fuels. Sanctions against Russia. Price cap. Frozen assets. Military aid, financial aid, humanitarian aid, inteligence aid. Building our and UKR military infrastructure. We can do more of course.

I’m not really criticising the EU effort, I know from Uncle Wolf that an enormous amount of progress has been made. But every bit of added pressure is needed to achieve the mutual goals of Ukraine and Europe. Plus Ursula Von de Leyen is an obvious Ruzzian target 🎯

Well, those words were just criticism.

We need to keep the pressure on, in this global climate nothing is a forgone conclusion, EU probably need to do more .🔥🇺🇦🔥

And EU is doing more. Price cap of 45$ will be effecive in two days.EU replaced US aid because now there is none. There are talks how to use those 200 bil. € of russian frozen assets. That is a major shift from 2022. That is 2% of whole EU GDP or 10% of russian GDP. We cant destroy us while we help.

EU is really dragging it's feet in this. Just enough aid to keep russia advancing very slowly. We could do much more if the will was there.

Also it doesnt mean that if Russia is slowly advancing that Rusia is winning. Those are two very different things.

Of course. It's calculated. Ukraine will survive, albeit smaller than before. We could help Ukraine throw russia completely out in 6 months. That would also dethrone Putler, and give russia a plausible way to accept the defeat.

Probability that EU will won war against Russia is high, but it will not be without scratch and it could endanger democracy here, also with big risk of nuclear or other conflicts around the world. Or there will be total war. These are just fantasies that do not account the real world. Its not easy!

Letting russia "win" this time assures a WW3 start within a decade. The longer the war in Ukraine continues, the closer Chinas invasion of Taiwan comes. russia must be crushed quickly.

Who says that we should let Russia win this?

We are letting russia win by not supporting Ukraine enough. russia will get to keep everything they have if negotiations are really done. That's a win in russias book. And will also lead to further invasions in the future. They must be thrown out of Ukraine completely - or they will have a "win".

Where is Russia "winning"? Slow grind at frontlines for astronomical life and material cost? Economic isolation? Economic downturn (inflation, high rates, higher taxes, sky high cost of military and security, bancrupcies, cutting demand, logistics problems) Lowering low quality of life Gas shortages

Yes, we know this - but it's a matter of what Putler can get away with politically at home. Nearly all meat comes from the far east of russia, which is fine with people in Moscow and St Petersburg. If russia gets to keep what they have taken so far, that is considered a win for him.

EU is based on democracy and transparency. And disadvantage of democracy system is that it is slower. And slow movement is also an advantage, because drastic changes are not possible over night. EU support really got momentum this year after US turned into idiocracy. www.ifw-kiel.de/topics/war-a...

Germany promising, and then denying Ukraine Taurus has got nothing to do with democracy. The Baltic states are democracies, and are punching way beyond their financial weight.

Because everyone in Baltics has the idea of what will happen when they will not do it. That is not the case in Germany or e.g. Spain. So it is much easier for any politician there to push forvard this if there is very little opposition for that. So it is very much about democracy...

Not true.. but they definitely need better PR to effectively communicate that to the populace. Importantly, war strategies & reactions are secret for obvious reasons.. that seems to escape many.
