From the perspective of the warm-blooded mammal, it will *feel* cooler, but we typically associate air conditioning with changing the temperature of the air, which a humidifier doesn't do. I'd agree that the headline could be written more clearly though

Yes but A) that's subjective and B) the dehumidifier is going to generate *more heat* as it dries the air.

The main reason I made my video is that when using a dehumidifier like this, it's actually a band-aid for some other problem like an improperly-sized air conditioner. Their purpose is not comfort. It is true they they can help, but only in some situations, and that nuance is important.
