But the basic worldview will live on. I’ve seen it festering since the 70s, in my own birth family. It’s a virus in the American Dream and I don’t know what the cure is.

It has always been a part of the population of this country. It pops up and then it's tamped down for a few decades. But it's always there. This current manifestation is the most severe test because they have the Presidency, Congress, and the SC. Who knows how it'll turn out.
