Term limits are folksy but a bad idea. With a revolving door of freshman legislators, the only groups that understand how to draft legislation are lobbyists. Term limits give over all of the power of writing bills to private interests. At least now we pretend like legislators do their work.

People simply don't want 80+ year olds making extremely important decisions. That's all.
