I won't stand for members of parliament who try to cheat the system. It's unfair on working people who play by the rules. I, for one, don't like paying for someone else's 2nd mortgage when I am currently getting into difficulty myself after a recent illness.
You'd have thought the ones who are landlords would have enough homes to choose from without the public paying for an additional one.
Really gets my goat this subject. A centralised accommodation block type setup is long overdue for this. Just read that 83 MP's are raking in an estimated 830k from rental properties! 😡
Agreed. Along with modern office blocks with purpose built debating chambers to replace Westminster Palace. Selling off that cesspit to investors would pay for both many times over.
