The issue is nuanced. I've been predicting peak oil production for 25 years. It continues to be 5 years away, although the OECD countries have peaked. Peak natural gas is nowhere in sight.

No, it was clearly about electricity and solar energy in some african countries not about primary energy. And yes we have a problem, but as I mentioned not as big as the chart suggests.

Once you take into account issues like curtailment, seasonality, and dispatchiblity, the solar is not the panacea the post alludes.
