Interesting how Herschell Gordon Lewis and David Friedman chose to (sort of) try and mask their identities there.
I find it hard to believe either of them had any idea of the concept of embarrassment.
No - having watched pretty much the entire HGL filmography - me neither. Perhaps, bearing in mind this was 1961, it was a way to try and avoid prosecution or legal probs of some sort?
I've watched a significant amount (nowhere near all) of HGL's output. It can be.... a bit of a chore. So, congratulations, I suppose!
Ha! It’s certainly patchy. Not sure I’d ever want to do much of it for a second time.
The exception is Blood Feast, which I can happily watch over and over.
Agreed. Color Me Blood Red / Wizard of Gore also get an outing maybe once every 18 months.
