Trump keeps using the word ‘dictator’ like it’s something to brag about — I don’t know if he really even knows what it means. Let’s be clear: No. Americans do not want a dictator — millions gave their lives to make sure we would never live under one.
He's normalizing the term so it becomes descriptive rather than derogatory.
