Sheoyang looks like it's by a volcano. How have they adapted to living near it? Also, do they have any myths/legends/magic related to it?

It is by a volcano. The city has magically reinforced walls (thanks to a treaty with Arctus) that can repel lava flow. They have round the clock watchers keeping an eye on the volcano for signs of eruption. Should the signs appear they have alarms that sound through the city and the people flee to-
