Good reply, but it seems average people are manipulated. Is that not what has happened in the U.S.? Why else would the citizens have picked a Trump? How can this scenario be prevented?
It's hard. Wean people off the idea that any media will present an unbiased opinion. Verify facts when possible, don't fall for the emotional grab or fear tactics. Advertising is a huge part of the problem. Campaigns use ads to hit emotional buttons. The GOP relied on anger as a selling point.
