I hadn't realized you met him so long ago. But yeah, he's the embodiment of "well, actually" spoken in a nasal, whiny tone.

I met him in the 00s, at some social thing related to law. He was on the make and seemed at home doing politics. I have no insight into anything other than his presentation!

And fussy little dorks have a very solid track record in Canadian politics, there is absolutely no bar to fussy little dorks being leaders here or ascending to high office. No real slight on PP other than it's his pretence he is something he isn't; the media swallowed it whole, good for him.
