So what? Why are we separating family members? Look at it this way: Let's say your Mom came here illegally and you were born here. 50 years later, she's dependent on you for care. ICE decided to deport a helpless 70-yo woman, your Mom. You are gonna stay here? Or be forced to follow her?
Look at this way: The 50 years later scenario you are pushing, by far and away, is the exception and not the rule. Question is, with regards to basic facts, why do you insist being unrealistic? Get real.

The basic fact is Trump and ICE do not have the authority to carry out mass deportations in this manner. Please explain how the Alien Enemies Act applies to Venezuelan asylum seekers. Please explain how it applies to Kilmar Obrega Garcia, a Salvadoran. Or any others. Who are we at war with?
