@shepf.art Have you seen the new Amtrak Acela? (vid is not my ownOP is "tomroussey7news" on that other site) I used to work for Amtrak I was part of the Swedish X-2000 & the German ICE prototype programs back when Amtrak was looking for the best "future" tech for Amtrak in the early 1990s.

I have! (well, seen the videos, anyways!), it's fiiiiinally running! And really???? That's super cool to have participated in! Same we had to wait several more years for the Acela to have that sort of service on the NEC!
