Especially not without both houses under the control of one party, with veto-proof majorities. It's fine to make all these grandiose proposals, but what a Dem-controlled House could do is capitalize on the debt ceiling extensions. Rescind the shocking amount of funds appropriated to ICE, to start.
If we had a normal election, we would get pretty close to veto proof majorities, especially in the house. But we are going to really have to fight to get a normal election.
