Vanilla Sky - Tom Cruise did a fantastic job making the character likable. In the original the character was insufferable & he is still a little bit of a jerk in the remake but you don’t hate him. Controversial take: Invasion with Nicole Kidman. It’s - no I’m not explaining 🤷🏻♀️
Brewster's Millions
- The Fly - The Thing - True Lies - True Grit - Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) - The Beat That My Heart Skipped - Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - The Blob
The Fly and The Thing, two of the greatest!!
Still from Scarface (1983) boxd.it/2b7g
thumbs down. this movie is in part responsible for making an entirely new generation of drug dealers.
Has to be among the most overrated films I've seen, and I usually like Al Pacino, Brian De Palma, and Oliver Stone. It certainly has some of the worst fans this side of Zack Snyder.
Chuck Russell’s The Blob is a good time. boxd.it/1YgY
I prefer the new "West Side Story" over the original - which seems quaint today, "Daddy-O". Nice to have the actual actor's voices used for the musical numbers.
‘Cat People’ (1982). 👍
