The pandemic made a lot of people realize that they are evil, and they decided to embrace it. They don’t care that other people might die or suffer because of them. They don’t care that disabled people or people recovering from cancer or the elderly can’t go to the store. And they are proud of it.

I observed many during the pandemic that went berserk because they couldn't stand being alone with themselves. When a person's mind is not nourished with true knowledge their thoughts are negative, they become fearful, and lose control...as the saying goes, 'an idle mind is the devil's workshop'.

Educated and intelligent people normally have the capability of researching themselves, while also not confusing blog posts without sources for credible evidence. Lack of good education; my pick for how things turn shit, because all that matters in capitalism is make these children productive.
So you can even turn into an average STEM researcher while having no clue about what constitutes a pseudo argument, and how to avoid bias, how to remain compassionate and empathetic.
I advocate for a critical thinking course in high school, for this reason. I had an English teacher who dedicated a lot of his curriculum to critical thinking and logical fallacies. It changed my life.

Millions of us had to go to work every day like normal during the pandemic. There wasn't as much traffic, but aside from that, many of our jobs actually got harder to do because of the various restrictions in place. We were "essential workers" and we certainly weren't "living on the Internet". GFY.
